Septic Services in the Flathead Valley

Pumping, repairs, inspections, drain fields, new systems and emergencies: one local crew for the whole septic system across the Flathead Valley.

Septic Services

We are a full-service septic company based in Kalispell and working the whole Flathead Valley, from the Lower Valley and West Valley out to Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork and the lake and river communities in between. If it has to do with a septic system, we handle it: routine tank pumping, repairs to lids, baffles, lines and pumps, real-estate and point-of-sale inspections, drain field diagnosis and repair, new system installs with the county permit, and emergency backups. Outside the sewer cores of Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls, nearly every home here runs on a tank and a drain field, and the valley makes that its own job: shallow groundwater on the valley floor, cobbly glacial gravel that drains too fast or clay pockets that drain too slow, lakeshore lots on Flathead and Whitefish Lakes, and winters that freeze a shallow line solid. You call or text, tell us roughly where the tank is and what is going on, and we give you a straight answer and a real price. No upsells, no scare tactics, just a crew that knows Flathead septic.

One crew for the whole septic system

Plenty of homeowners call one outfit to pump, another to dig and a third to inspect. We do all of it. Routine pumping, lid and baffle repairs, line and effluent pump replacements, drain field diagnosis, inspections for a home sale, and new systems from the county permit to the final cover. That continuity matters: the people who pumped your tank are the people who can tell you whether the drain field is starting to struggle, and whether a new build on your lot needs a different kind of system than the old one.

Built for Flathead Valley ground and Flathead Valley winters

The valley floor sits on glacial outwash: cobbles and gravel in one yard, a lens of clay or silt in the next, and groundwater close to the surface near the Flathead River, Ashley Creek and the lakeshores. Those conditions decide how a drain field behaves and what the county will approve for a new one. Then winter comes. Frost here goes deep, and a shallow or poorly insulated line, a lid left bare, or a pump tank without heat tape can freeze and stop the whole system in January. We size the work for the ground, keep access open through the snow season, and know what fails here and when.

Straight answers, honest pricing

Septic is easy to oversell because the system is underground and most people never see it. We do not work that way. We tell you what your system actually needs, show you what we find with the lid off, and quote it up front. If your tank has another year in it, we say so. If a drain field is failing and a pump is only buying time, we tell you that too, so you can plan instead of getting surprised in the middle of winter or the middle of a home sale.

Septic Services: Questions We Hear a Lot

How often should a septic tank be pumped in the Flathead Valley?
For most households, every three to five years, depending on tank size and how many people live in the home. Smaller tanks, larger families, and homes run as vacation rentals around Whitefish and Bigfork need it more often. If you cannot remember the last time it was pumped, it is probably overdue. Call or text and we will get you on a schedule.
Do you handle the whole system or just pumping?
The whole system. We pump tanks, repair lids, baffles, lines and pumps, diagnose and repair drain fields, do inspections for home sales, and install new systems under a Flathead County permit. One call covers it, and the crew that pumps your tank is the crew that knows your system.
Which towns do you cover?
Kalispell, Evergreen, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, Somers, Lakeside, Kila, Marion, Creston, Ferndale, Hungry Horse and Coram, plus the rural ground between them. Roughly anything within a 35-mile drive of Kalispell. We do not run to Polson, Eureka, Libby or the Seeley-Swan.
How do I find my tank if I have no idea where it is?
That is common on older valley properties and on places that changed hands a few times. We locate buried tanks and lids as part of the job, working from where the plumbing leaves the house, the layout of the yard, and probing. Once we find it we can note the location, and add a riser so the next service does not need a shovel.
